Park Entrance

The park entrance is seen as you enter the park from Riverview Ave.                                                  

In the past the entrance was filled with water. Three spouts in the back wall had water running and cascading down into the pool. The pool had large goldfish and water lilies along with some other water plants.  We will show a photo of this in the future.

The steps to the right lead to a trail going up the hill to the observatory and the steps to the left lead to a trail that circles the Observatory and connects to the Whissahickon trail behind the Visitors center.
